I’ve been buying cars for 50 years, and I generally find it a totally disagreeable process. In fact, I dread walking into a car dealer and usually come away disappointed by the experience. But I can say that working with Chris Sims at Don Wood Toyota recently was the very best car buying experience I have ever had. He is the first auto sales person I considered a pleasure to do business with. Chris was straight talking, extremely helpful and knowlegeable, and never once mis-represented the car or the deal we were negotiating. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and to move the buying proicess along in a timely manner. I nevert once felt pressured. He strikes me as honest, sociable, and easy to engage with. I give Chris the highest possible ranking.

We shopped for a used vehicle in September of 2009 and purchased a used 08 Sonata. We were very happy with the whole experience. Bob made us very comfortable and was supportive throughout the entire transaction. My experience with Erik Reardon was fantastic. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the cars on the lot. We weren’t really sure what kind of vehicle we were looking for at first, but Erik guided us into a brand new Prius that we absolutely love. We were looking for a used car at first, but were really impressed with the Prius. We were also very picky about our financing or lease options, and made him look through all kinds of different scenarios. He did a great job guiding us through the finance portion of the transaction and we feel great about our decision. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience.
Jeanie was also a huge help in the financing portion of our purchase. She did a great job working for us to get us approved and in the car we wanted. She also was a huge help in purchasing the extended warranty and gap insurance. I’ve never felt more comfortable about a car purchase.
Erik and Jeanie are both tremendous assets to Don Wood, and we will definitely be back when we’re looking for a new car.

This was an extremely enjoyable experience. Mr. Drake was a fabulous salesman to work with—very informative, but not pressure-type sales style. I actually enjoye the buying experience and would reccomend Mr. Drake and Don Wood to any future car customer.
Mrs. Warrington was very personable and very informative. She explained all financial information very clearly. Again, I enjoyed the experience.

Erik was very helpful with my car purchase. I came in hoping to trade my truck in and buy a new Corolla and am walking out the door with the keys to a Corolla within 24 hours. Working with Bob over the phone, long distance was very easy. We were able to accomplish the majority of the items over the phone and then when I came into town the purchase went very smoothly. Chris was extremely helpful by lending me a temporary car when my previous car was not safe to drive. He made the entire frustrating process of being without a car much more tolerable situation. I was able to keep up with my Graduate school classes and nannying responsiblities without any interruption. He had the people in the service dept. assess the damage to my previous car in a timely fashion, and helped me figure out which new toyota I was truly interested in leasing. (Created a verbal pro- and con- list with me).He walked me through the financial aspect of the whole process, was extremely courteous to my father (the co-signer), and my mother when they were there the day of acquiring the new rav4. The whole process was handled smoothly by Chris. Chris explained everything during each step along the way, and fielded any and all questions I had (there were quite a few!) I appreciate his professionalism and his approachability. He made me feel very in charge of my decisions, even though I was co-signing with my folks, he made me feel empowered, too. I felt very content with Chris being in charge of the whole process. I am very glad to have met him at Don Wood. And I will definitely keep working with him for any of my future vehicle needs. Thanks for hiring such a great Don Wood team member!
